Salon Booking users rules

Salon Booking has specific WordPress users roles with specific privileges:


- Salon staff member

This role can be used to give access to the salon personnel only to manage reservations. No access to Salon Booking settings, no access to the rest of Wordpress dashboard.

- Salon customer

This is the role that is automatically assigned to the salon customers when they make the first reservation.

This role gives them access only to their personal account page on the website (Booking My Account).


- Administrator

This is a standard Wordpress role that is allowed to access to all sections of Salon Booking on back-end.

In some cases you would give the privilege to access to all Salon Booking sections to people that should not have access to the settings of your Wordpress website in this case you can enable the option:

“Editor as Administrator”
